The Application Process The application process is slightly different for each individual and will depend on type of dog being requested. Generally, you will need to do the following: Contact Nan Ippolito at A.C.T.S. to request an application packet. The application should be filled out online and a nonrefundable, $50 application fee needs to be mailed to A.C.T.S. It takes approximately two months to complete the application and return it to us. Once returned, an A.C.T.S. representative will contact you to set up an in-home appointment or face time call. This will give us an opportunity to get to know you better, and help us determine what you will be needing from your dog. A background check may be required prior to the home visit. The application process will not be considered complete until all parts of the application have been submitted and completed including: The Application Form, Medical Form (when required), three references, $50 application fee, and home visit or face time call. A candidate will be placed on the wait list once all aspects of the application are complete and have been reviewed, and the applicant has been accepted.
